Great Brunswick Junior's Goals for 2011

We have begun another productive club year in 2011! Throughout the year we are looking to continue the bonds we've created within the community and would like to create new bonds with local charities. In addition, we are always looking to gain new members to assist with our monthly events. Prospective members are encouraged to attend one of our monthly meetings. Keep an eye out for Social Events and "Friend"raisers. You may even wish to visit us on Facebook. We are enjoying another exciting club year!

Fall wrap-up!

What a great Fall to be a Junior.  Fall conference  was where we were visited by a mother of a 5 year old boy with cnacer who is striving thanks to our State Project The Valerie Fund.  A successful Halloween Costume Drive at Back To School Night at a local school brought in many wonderful costumes for children in Foster Care.  We created 3  monthly, delicious and healthy meals at Ronald McDonald House.  November brought our Thanksgiving donations for families and Operation Christmas Child.  Another big hit within the community.
Finally our biggest and most satisfying project our Collection of New Toys for Women Aware's Mom Shop, Foster And Adoptive Family Holiday Party, local families in our area, and 20 children at a Kids Cafe in New Brunswick.
The Juniors are off again with new ideas for the Winter.  Please come and visit at our next meeting on Jan. 10th at 7:30 at United Methodist Church in Milltown.
