Great Brunswick Junior's Goals for 2011

We have begun another productive club year in 2011! Throughout the year we are looking to continue the bonds we've created within the community and would like to create new bonds with local charities. In addition, we are always looking to gain new members to assist with our monthly events. Prospective members are encouraged to attend one of our monthly meetings. Keep an eye out for Social Events and "Friend"raisers. You may even wish to visit us on Facebook. We are enjoying another exciting club year!

2014 UPCOMING EVENTS

Making It Possible to End Homelessness
at a General Meeting

When: March 3, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.

Where: United Methodist Church, 47 N. Main St., Milltown

Learn how you and your family can help. Making it Possible to End Homelessness was founded in 1987 in New Brunswick, NJ, as a way to increase local services and resources for the homeless. In the beginning, Making it Possible consisted solely of volunteers who were represented by local advocates and clergy from Middlesex County. Through its efforts, the organization was able to bring together mainstream public and private agencies to advocate on behalf of the homeless. In 1988, Making it Possible introduced the concept of transitional housing to central New Jersey, giving families a stable place to live while they prepare for their new lives free from homelessness.
Please bring canned goods and/or cleaning supplies to help the families in their transitional homes.

The Junior Woman's Club of the Greater Brunswick Area is a community service organization open to women ages 18-40. The group meets the first Monday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Milltown.
