Great Brunswick Junior's Goals for 2011

We have begun another productive club year in 2011! Throughout the year we are looking to continue the bonds we've created within the community and would like to create new bonds with local charities. In addition, we are always looking to gain new members to assist with our monthly events. Prospective members are encouraged to attend one of our monthly meetings. Keep an eye out for Social Events and "Friend"raisers. You may even wish to visit us on Facebook. We are enjoying another exciting club year!

Past Events

Over the past few months the Juniors have been busy assisting our Adopt a Road program in East Brunswick, collecting toys for Second Chance Toys, hosting our district's Spring Conference, and preparing for our Mother's Market. With 14 active members we strive to make a difference both locally and internationally.

About Our Group!

The Junior Woman’s Club of the Greater Brunswick Area is a not-for-profit group of women volunteers. We are part of the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs. We are dedicated to community service for those in need and the less fortunate. We seek work that would directly improve the lives of others. As a member of the JWC-GBA, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people in your community and surrounding areas. It is a wonderful experience to volunteer in your neighborhood, become more involved, and make new friends.

Our current State Project is The Valerie Fund. We have just begun to work with this worthy charity. Under important websites, below, is a link to the organization. Please contact us with your ideas. We plan to organize a costume drive for the patients and their families to celebrate Halloween this October.

In addition to community service, we do social activities for our families. The ladies get together for Ladies' Night Out and other social gatherings.
We meet the First Monday of each month at 8:00 pm. Our meeting place is the United Methodist Church, 47 N. Main St., Milltown, NJ. For more information about our group or to join us, please email us: jwcgba@gmail.com
